元器件交易网讯 4月21日消息，据台湾电子时报报道，来自上游供应链的消息，AMD将于5月份在北京举办APU 14论坛，届时AMD高管将登台演讲。AMD的合作伙伴同时将展示其最新的创新性产品。

　　这将是AMD在中国举办的首个APU论坛。由于AMD已经将台式电脑业务大本营重新定位在中国，这个动作显示AMD已将业务中心转向中国。

　　该消息指出，中国已成为PC和移动设备行业最重要的市场，推动英特尔和AMD投入有意义的资源和人力。

　　英特尔和AMD倒向中国大陆供应链预计将影响台湾供应链。在4月2日-3日的英特尔开发者论坛（IDF）上，英特尔宣布建立智能设备创新中心，希望与中国大陆供应商、教育和政府部门建立更深层次的关系。这个CPU巨头也设立了1亿美元的基金，促进中国大陆智能设备的创新。

　　AMD will host its APU 14 event in Beijing, China in May with several AMD executives set to deliver keynotes. AMD's partners will showcase their latest innovations, according to sources from the upstream supply chain.

　　The event will be AMD's first hosted APU technical forum in China. Since AMD has also recently relocated its desktop business headquarters to China, the moves show that the CPU maker has turned its business focus to the country, the sources said.

　　The sources pointed out that China has already become the most important market for both the PC and mobile device industries, pushing Intel and AMD to invest significant resources and manpower. Intel and AMD turning to China's supply chain is expected to affect Taiwan's supply chain.

　　At the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in Shenzhen, China from April 2-3, Intel announced the establishment of its Smart Device Innovation Center, looking to form deeper relationships with China's supply chain, education and government sectors. The CPU giant also set up a fund of US$100 million to accelerate innovation in smart devices in China.

　　Intel's goal of shipping 40 million tablet processors in 2014 will rely on support from China's white-box players, the sources added.
