元器件交易网讯 4月18日消息，据外媒报道，台积电将出售持有的台湾晶圆厂Vanguard国际半导体公司（Vanguard International Semiconductor）5%的股份。

　　Vanguard作为一家DRAM公司拥有二十年的历史，成为纯晶圆代工厂也有十年时间。台积电拥有Vanguard 38%的股份，此次出售将筹集1.16亿美元。

　　外界认为台积电出售股份的原因是目前台湾代工业务蓬勃，正是出售良机。（元器件交易网毛毛  译）

　　TSMC is to sell 5% of its holding in theTaiwanese foundry Vanguard International Semiconductor.

　　The sale will raise $116 million.

　　TSMC owns 38% of 20 year-old Vanguard whichstarted off as a DRAM company and became a pure-play foundry ten years ago.

　　TSMC is thought to be selling because thefoundry business is booming in Taiwan and it’s a good time to sell.
